The Friends of the Bristol Public Library will hold a used book mini-sale on Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9 in the lower level of the Bristol Public Library, 5 High Street, Bristol. The sale hours are 9:00AM to 4:00PM on Friday and 9:00AM to 1:00PM on Saturday. Adult fiction will be sold at half price all day on Saturday. The sale features 2,000 gently used fiction and non-fiction books for children, teens and adults priced from 50 cents to $2.00, and a large selection of specially priced books at a slightly higher cost.
The Friends are also holding an ongoing mini-sale at the Manross Memorial Library, 260 Central Street, Forestville, starting on June 12th and running until the end of the month. This sale offers fiction and non-fiction books for readers of all ages, and the books can be purchased whenever the library is open.
The sales will provide shoppers with the opportunity to stock up on summer reading material, and the proceeds will help fund special program mini-grants for children, young adults, and adults at both Bristol libraries.
