The Friends of the Fairfield Public Library Book Sale
The Friends of the Fairfield Public Library are having their Fall Book Sale. It will be Nov 14 from 9-4:30, Nov 15 from 10-4:30 and Nov 16 from 12-4:30 at the Fairfield Public Library Main Branch. Most books are just $1 or $2, with a select few special unique items priced a bit higher. This year we also have a large amount of vintage comic books and play away books. ALL money raised in this sale goes into supporting the Fairfield Public Library’s many programs and services, which are offered free to the public.
The Friends of the Guilford Free Library Friday, December 5th, 9am to 5pm ( One Day Only—Tree-lighting Day) Books! The Perfect Gift for Everyone! The Friends of the Guilford Free Library will ring in the season with their annual Holiday Sale on Friday, December 5. The one-day event in the Lobby will offer holiday- themed books; new fiction; select books on art, gardening and cooking; and plenty of books for children. Specialty items include DVDs and CDs as well as puzzles and small books for stuffing stockings. Everything is in pristine condition and priced to make your pocketbook rejoice. Flutist Mimi Dudley will perform at 11:30am. Proceeds from the sale directly support the Library—to help purchase books and equipment and to sponsor programs and staff development.
