The Friends of the C.H. Booth Library will hold a special sale of Do-it-Yourself books and media in the lower-level Meeting Room at Newtown’s C.H. Booth Library, 25 Main Street. Sale hours are Saturday, October 5, 9:30-5 and Sunday October 6, noon-5.
The sale will feature thousands of reasonably-priced books and DVDs covering a broad range of hobbies and crafts: woodworking, furniture-making and other wood crafts; home improvement and decorating; sewing, knitting and other fabric arts; cooking, gardening and more. All of the sale items are in mint condition and most of them are from Newtown's prestigious Taunton Press.
