    Friends of Brookfield Library Craft Fair & Holiday Boutique

    Want to do some holiday shopping? Come to the Friends' book sale and craft fair! We're excited to be hosting an event at St. Joseph's Church's gymnasium (across from St. Joseph's Church, 1 Obtuse Hill Rd.,) from 10 AM-4 PM on Sat., Nov. 22nd. 

    The event features lots of amazing vendors, crafts, and of course a book sale! 

    Vendors include: 
    American Girl Clothes
    Binny Bags (Handmade bags from South Africa)
    Dennis Art Prints (Prints by local artist Dennis Stuart)
    Pampered Chef/Tastefully Simple (Gourmet food made easy, pots and pans)
    Sleepy Rose Shop (various small items related to books and dogs)

    $10 fills a bag with books from 12-4 PM. See you there!

    The Friends would like to invite you to their Craft Fair on Saturday, Nov. 22nd. It will be at St. Joseph's Church gymnasium in Brookfield, CT  (1 Obtuse Hill Road, across from the church itself). Please feel free to swing by and check out our fun vendors and of course plenty of books for sale! 

    $10 fills a bag with books from 12-4 PM (please bring your own, standard size bag)

    The Friends of the Guilford Free Library

    Books! The Perfect Gift for Everyone!

    The Friends of the Guilford Free Library will ring in the season with their annual Holiday Sale on Friday, December 5.   The one-day event in the Lobby will offer holiday- themed books; new fiction; select books on art, gardening and cooking; and plenty of books for children. Specialty items include DVDs and CDs as well as puzzles and small books for stuffing stockings. Everything is in pristine condition and priced to make your pocketbook rejoice. 

    Flutist Mimi Dudley will perform at 11:30am. 

    Proceeds from the sale directly support the Library—to help purchase books and equipment and to sponsor programs and staff development.
